Our vision is to live in an Australia in which people with disability are welcomed and fully included on an equal basis in every aspect of life.
Our purpose, vision and mission
To challenge and change people’s thinking, attitudes and behaviour due to the lack of understanding of people with disability caused by prevailing negative stereotypes and life-limiting assumptions, particularly through the media and on television.
To live in an Australia in which people with disability are welcomed and fully included on an equal basis in every aspect of life.
To shape a new understanding of disability throughout Australia through the promotion and development of media content that provides a realistic portrayal of people with disability. In particular through the creation of a television documentary series with real stories of people with disability told in their own voices.
Attitude Foundation Limited was established in 2014 by people who are passionate about the inclusion of people with disability in society and are passionate storytellers.
Our Board and Staff hold extensive experience in disability, human rights, not-for-profit organisations and the media.
